Himax HC6330-200 F3A motor This motor is developed specifically for F3A Pattern Flying. While it is lightweight and very high efficiency, it also features mounting pattern that fits the popular motors in this sport. It is a drop-in replacement for the popular Plenttenberg Evo 30 with identical mounting pattern and identical firewall to prop distance except the orientation of the wire exit. A radial motor mount is included with this motor that fits the mounting pattern of our HC63xx motors and Axi53xx motors. There are two motors in the following pictures. The one on the left is a proof of concept prototype. The one on the right is the pre-production prototype. It weighs 613g. The final production version will be 99% identical to this prototype. At present, this motor scheduled to be be available around mid March of 2010 and the price will be $249.95. As soon as we have a firm delivery date, we will make it available for on-line ordering. We will also offer a special promotion for the early birds. Because of the production and shipping scheduling, we will not be able to show this motor at the WRAM show. However, we are 99% sure that we will have this motor available at Toledo show. Update
2-25-10 The
production is right on schedule after the New Year holiday at the factory.
All CNC parts are done, rotor assembly is done, stator is in production
line but we are waiting for a key component - motor shaft - from an
out-of-town supplier. If we could receive this part as promised next
week, we will be able to delivery around March 16th. We should have
our ship date around March 9th. As soon as we have a firm delivery
date, we will add the "order" button and other technical info to
this page. Thank you for your interest in this motor. Update 3-10-10 After spending the past two weeks resolving some technical issues, the motor shaft is currently scheduled to arrive at the factory in about two weeks, and the first production shipment should be in stock by the first week of April. Once the shipment leaves the factory around March 30th, we will have another update at that time to provide confirmed motor availability schedule. Update 3-23-10 Motor shaft arrived! We should have the motor in our warehouse by 3/30/10. We will begin to ship on or before 4/2/10. Price below reflects a $50 early bird discount. This program will end on April 11th, 2010. We will NOT charge your credit card until we are ready to ship your order.
